Superworms
Alright I wanted to post a little info about Superworms, Zoophobas Morio, also known as Kingworms. I feed them to all my lizards. My bigger Agamas thoroughly enjoy them. As a matter of fact they are the main staple for my CWD's. CWD's are picky eaters anyway but they never turn down Superworms. They're an excellent prey item for birds too.
I keep them the same as I keep my Crickets. That is on a bed of baby cereal or oatmeal and I just feed them fruits and veggies. When I had easier access to the orange cubes I used to feed those. DO NOT REFRIGERATE SUPERWORMS! The thing that makes the difference between Superworms and Giant Mealworms is Supers have less chitin in their shell. Chitin makes the exo-skeletons harder and less of it makes these bugs easier to digest. If anyone is feeding giant mealworms I recommend switching. Supers run about the same price but are much better for you pet.
