Doing Laundry

Post  Dipshit on Mon Feb 08, 2010 5:19 am

I hate laundry! There's just too much to it. First you gotta sort, then load, then wash, then remove and put in another machine, then dry, then remove again, then sort again, then fold and finally make it fit in it's prospective home. By the time I get to that putting away part I am sick of it. It's really bad when you have to do more than one load. And what in the world makes it multiply like wet mogwie's? In 3 days my family of 4 can produce 15 loads of laundry? Where the hell did that come from? I wish the laundry fairy was real!

ROFL @ Kal---at least you don't have to tote it to the river, wash it on a rock, tote it back, hang it to dry and THEN fold it and put it away.....

What's the weirdest thing you've washed?

Post  Twosnakes on Tue Feb 09, 2010 11:49 pm

As a new, tired, mom I once washed a poopy diaper. Yup. Picked up a random load off the floor after getting kids down for the nite, and musta missed a poopy diaper..... went RIGHT in the washing machine. Have you EVER tried to get the gel, goopy, sticky nasty wet stuff OFF of clothes? I ended up taking them outside, beating with stick 'till relatively clean, then running TWO cycles of hot belach water thru the machine, THEN washing them. *sigh*
NEVER AGAIN DO I WASH WITHOUT GOING THRU EACH AND EVERY PIECE OF CLOTHING TO SEE WHAT IS HIDING INSIDE OF IT!!!!

Well, I don't know if it's weird but we save the little tabby things off the cans for free cancer treatments and ours are the cleanest in the world!
Also, I think every lighter we own has been through the wash at least once....
